Animal Adventure is one of our most fun products. This package takes you through 8 or 14 days of close animal encounter in the wild. It is indeed a great feeling when you see a wild animal at close range. Nothing in this package is prepared or staged. The animals are found in the wild and you get the chance to see them very close and learn about them. This tour covers three main areas of observation. The flat lands. the andes and the coast.
Our adventure begins the day after your arrival with a plane transfer from El dorado Airport in Bogota to Yopal domestic airpor in Casanare State. From there, a 3-hour jeep ride into the heart of Los Llanos. Four days in los llanos will take the our visitors face to face with some of the most interesting species of animals of the Colombian flatlands: Anacondas, Boa constrictors and other snakes, Spectacled Caiman, Orinoco Caiman, Giant Ant-eaters, clear water Dolphins, Matamata Turtles, Otters, Jaguars, White-Tailed Dear and hundreds of birds.
After Los Llanos, we will fly back to Bogota for a day’s rest in downtown and a night out in the popular bars and nightclubs of this colonial Andean city.
Then, the trip continues on to the Central mountain chain of los Andes towards the town of Salento. In here, you will visit one of Colombia´s most beautiful landscapes: Valley of Cocora.
From Salento we will continue to visit the
One during the afternoon on arrival and one at night on the same river. interesting species of animals can be seen in this part of the country; birds are among the most abundant in this area but also spectacled caiman (fuscus subspecies) Tree-climber snakes, Tornasol and Emerald boa and other snakes that can be found on the mangrove forest on the edges of the river.
On the 14 day trip we take an overnight bus transfer to Falcon State and the city of Coro. In here the group will visit the dunes of Paraguana Peninsula and then go to the national park of Morrocoy which holds some of the most beautiful islands in Venezuela. In this location the group will have the opportunity to go snorkeling in the beautiful coral reefs of this park. From here we’ll go back to the city of Coro for a domestic flight to Caracas National Airport.

Day 2
Arrival in the morning, welcome at airport & transfer to hotel
Afternoon horseback riding or birdwatching tour at Hacienda La Independencia

Day 3
After breakfast transfer to a natural reserve about 2 hours from Yopal. We have the chance to sight wildlife that has become rare in other parts of the Llanos on jeep drives and walks. After sunset we continue to the village of San Luis de Palenque (1 hr transfer) on the shore of Rio Pauto, where we stay at a hotel.

Day 4
After breakfast at the guesthouse we drive for about an hour through picturesque countryside keeping our eyes peeled for colourful birds in the wetlands. Our destination is a tucked-away little farm, "La Candelilla", on the river shore where we meet owner Seco, expert wildlife guide, master cowboy and simply the loveliest guy around, and his family. We take short walks to observe howler monkeys along the river shore and learn about the Llanos' lifestyle and culture in Seco's lived-in open air museum. Return to Yopal in the late afternoon.
